3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is kind of a souped-up version of their pale ale, in my opinion. It has a great, citrusy and piney aroma. Excellent bitterness, and tastes like some of the IPA and strong pale ales from Shoreline. Only those are some of the most fresh beers I’ve tasted.

i LOVE this beer. very hoppy, quite bitter at the front end. finishes with a surprising, delicious, citrusy flavor. this is one of my very favorite beers. probably the best IPA i’ve had so far.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a thick creamy head of good duration with attractive lacing over a golden (SRM 10) clear body....nose of mild floral and a bit of pine, but milder than expected.....taste is of mild sweet malt initially leading to lingering grapefruit tones, and then medium lingering bitterness....mouth feel is good with pleasant weight on the tongue and medium carbonation. The hops were not as large or assertive as hoped for.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours orange amber with an off white head. Sweet hoppy aroma, primarily citrus and pine. The flavor is relatively well balanced, with sweet malts and citric and piny hops. Very good.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Ah, hops! Pours a wonderful copper color with a tall lasting head. Huge, just huge aromatics at play here smelling full throttle hop like a tormented dingo on a prairie dog trail. A solid malt backbone plays host for a plethora of hop infusion. Theres a bit of sweet malt essence which is well used to balance this hoppy creep. The brew finishes long and delicious for a hop head like me. I relish in the fact that it hits and exceeds the 7% abv mark.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a transparent deep golden amber with a stringy-lacing white head. Aroma of freshy grapefruity hops and some lightly sweet toasty pale malt. Body starts with good fullness and finely dissolved carbonation. Has nice malty sweetness throughout with the resiny bittering hops showing up more strongly toward a drier, bittersweet finish. A very drinkable and flavorful IPA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours orange with a medium head, medium lacing. Aroma is heavily hoppy with an undercurrent of caramel and mild apple aroma. Flavor begins with a tangerine note, moving to apricot, mild grapefruity notes, pepper, caramel, light toast, lemongrass, and a slight veggie note near the finish. Surprisingly complex and balanced in a style that has become largely overrated and poorly done.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice large frothy off-white head of fine bubbles. Settles slowly. Excellent carbonation. Citrusy hops aroma with a decent caramel malt background. Color is bright copper brown. Loads of graprfruit in the flavor with some spicy hops, grainy malts, some roastynesss and minerals. Alcohol is hidden very well. Lingering bitterness and grapefruit pith. Leaves a bit of pastyness in the mouth. A very good IPA.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear golden brown with a nice dense white head. Citrus and floral hops dominate the aroma, but there are some mineral notes as well. Big piney bitterness, with little malt presence. Very dry with just a hint of citrus flavors.
