COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

Another damn solid beer from SN. Moving, it was absurdly hot and humid, and this beer is bracingly bitter, cold and delicious. Strong pine flavor, excellent aroma, very full flavor, complex, yet not overwhelming. Like Celebration itís just an excellent IPA.

This is a very good beer if you like hops. Some will say itís too hoppy, but come on, itís Sierra Nevada and itís going to be hoppy!

12oz bottle, Honolulu. A musky hop aroma, a beautiful smell. An orange-ish amber color with lively, fine bubbles. What a wonderful flavor. Full of greatness with a hint of sweet and o so much hoppy goodness that is an ultimate balance. It looks great, smells great, tastes great - it is great. Thank you SV for putting out a good beer

Bottle. Poured clear copper with a white head. Aroma of piney hops, caramel, malt, grass. Taste is malty sweet and piney hopped. Finish is bitter. Body is average, and carbonation is average. Overall, a decent IPA. My bottle may not have been the freshest. Would like to try on tap or in a fresher bottle.

Bottle at Bishops Arms. Karlstad. Pours a copper color with a nice white lasting head. Aroma is hoppy with pine, grass, grapefruit, but also caramel and toffee. Flavour is pretty sweet and caramely/toffeeish at first, but then the piny, grassy, grapefruity flavours kicks in a nice balance. Finishes with a nice lingering bitterness. Mediumbodied mouthfeel, carbonation is medium and quite refreshing. A nice beer in my opinion, it was a bit cold at first so I was a bit dissapointed but after it warmed it became really nice. A good IPA which I will buy again.

Enjoyed from a 12oz bottle in a pub glass. The beer pours a nice medium copper, with a head that essentially lasted through the entire drink. The head was so thick and so long-lasting, that it actually hindered the aroma a little bit, holding some the citrusy hops under wraps. The flavors coming through in the palate were indicative of a top-quality job of brewing and craftsmanship. Smooth hop bitterness, complex hop flavor, and a decent background of malt. The only improvement I could have seen were be to have had a little more body. Overall, a very nice IPA.

Autumn leaf colored with a milky, white soapy head. Nice lace. Aroma of flowery, spicy, hops with a little malt and some alcohol. Big body, but remains quite smooth. Upfront is qiute bitter, followed by bready, pale malts. Finish is dry with spicy, hops. I really like the finish but the bitterness in the front is a bit much for the rest of the beer. Alcohol is a little too pronounced. Drinkable, but Iíll take the Harvest or Pale over this anyday.
