Big hoppy aroma with citrus and floral tones. Pours a nice bronze with a big head and plenty of carbonation. Hope flavor is big and tasty. Finish is just a bit dry.

bottle, pours light amber with a medium light tan head. Aroma is full of cascade and floral notes. Flavor is very rich in the malt department, some hay and crisp and sharp pine notes of bitterness end dry and begging for another sip. Very nice.

Bottle. Small head that lasts. Slightly haze copper colour. Aroma is malts, citrus, pine and cream. Taste is well balanced with taste of mals and citrus and long lasting bitterness with almost toffee-cream like character. Very nice indeed

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
A nearly perfectly executed Extra IPA. Intense floral aroma and spicy pine flavors this beer is an amazing vehicle for hops. Another great beer from Sierra Nevada!

In Bottiglia. Buonissima Ipa, dal profumo intenso e molto luppolata. Una conferma di Sierra Nevada.

Number 2 in my S.N. tasting.Bottle pour.Dark orange colored with a good white head.Nose is piney hops, little cut grass, some orangey grapefruit smell with just a hint of malt.Taste was the same as the nose a little more of the piney citrus flavors then the grapefruit/lemon bitterness.Thin but nicely carbonated. Not bad.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
[Bottle] Pours a solid amber color with lots of white head. The aroma is loaded with hops; pineapple and pine notes mostly. The flavor is quite similar. Some bready malts are heavily overshadowed by the hopping. A long dry and bitter finish. Lively carbonation. Good palate, but slightly thinner than I had expected. Still one of the better IPA’s I’ve had in a while.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
A: The pour is a beautiful amber color with a nice fluffy white head.
S: A huge hop aroma to this beer. Lots of citrus and pine, with just a touch of malt.
T: Unfortunately, the flavor falls a bit short of the nose. Good grapefruit and pine flavors providing bitterness with some sweet caramel malt.
M: Medium body with substantial carbonation.
D: This is a nice standby IPA that is quite affordable as well as good tasting.
