Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

The nose on this IPA was dreamy for me, but thatís cause Iím not a hop head. Aroma was full of malt: biscuit, cookie, toasted bread. What a shock to then taste such a bitter beer....well, not such a shock given that it is an IPA. It was very bitter at first, although some sweetness came with the finish. It was a crisp, spruce/pine type hoppiness. Palate was smooth and nicely carbonated. Picture perfect.

Bottle in Gradi Plato bottleshop at RBESG Rome Day 2. Clear amber orange colour, off white head. Aroma of sweet caramel malts and good citrussy hops. Flavour is sweet, malty, fruity hoppy, grapefruit and pine bitter finish. Very smooth, medium to fullbodied, slick. Good.

I liked this Extra IPA, pouring an amber brown with a hoppy, robust head that laced the glass. Smells of malty pine. Taste: lightly toasted malt front side with a citrusy-hop backside. Good carbonation. Nicely done.

I tried this beer on May 28, 2010 at "The Beerbistro" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a hazy golden orange with a thick white rocky cap that lasted throughout. The aroma was weak sweet malt, pine, and an abundance of citrusy hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was definitely hoppy, a nice balance between the grapefruity hops and the slightly sweet malt.

Pours copper with a small long lasting dense head with nice lacing. Caramel with faint apricots and citrus in aroma. Dry bitter flavor then some more bitterness whith a bitter finish. Bitter bitter, too bitter to bother.

Dark golden brown with a fine head and a hoppy aroma. Mild flavor with that IPA bite.

Amber with a lasting white head. Yeast and old fashioned malt in the aroma. Taste is sweet with some malt. Sharp bitter finish. Drank this with an evening barbecue as the shadows lengthened. Others were on the Chilean rose. I did well.

Poured from bottle into a glass. Pours with a nice pillowy, off white head. Great amber color. Great hops smell with pine in it. Great bitterness at the front that continues through your entire tasting. Slight, but enough, malt backbone to keep this from being too bitter in my opinion. After taste of citrus rind. This is a great IPA. Very drinkable and a good choice for the everyday type of beer. I think I paid $7.99/6 pack so it is a good deal too.
