COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

12 oz. bottle served in shaker- poured a transparent darkened copper color, low carbonation, 3mm white head formed with several frog eyes, light lacing. Aroma of pine, citrus, caramel, and just a bit of funkiness. Hits the mouth with high-medium body, malt is there and has just a touch of caramel to it (the way I like it), hop wave comes crashing in the middle, finish is acidic but has a very slight taste of some kind of funk (can’t put my finger on it). Good, just not great.

Bottle: pours a dark amber with a fluffy white head, hoppy aroma, taste is dry, mildly hoppy, a little bitter, smooth maltyness as well. Nice.

Bottle. Pours copper-colored with a medium tan head. Aromas of citrus and pine dominate. Flavor is pine, earth, and citrus, all pleasantly bitter. Crisp, refreshing, and quite nice.

Pours light amber with a big, foamy off-white head. Nose is all floral hops and very crisp. Initial taste is malty and sweet with an almost brown ale type quality, but the hops strike back fast. Finish is very hoppy, with a bit more bitter to it than the nose had. Nothing overtly fancy but certainly a solid IPA.

amberish, really nice nose: citrus pine and a sweetness at the end. it’s hoppy, for sure, but i’m kind of meh about the taste in general. it feels really carbonated.

Aroma: not only fresh, but fresh and green, I can close my eyes and picture a hopper full of hops pellets, wonderful, especially for hops lovers; Appearance: very good blend of orange and brown, looks very natural; Taste: a very superior IPA, huge mouthfuls of hops flavor with a perfect bitter bite, I ate a hops pellet once, and this is a liquid distillation of that experience but with a masterful way of making you want to come back again and again for another swig; Palate: very "full" mouthfeel, but only in the mouth, not in the stomach, if you love IPAs, you could drink more than one at a sitting without the hops becoming overbearing; Overall: one of my favorite IPAs, and I’ve had quite a few (although I am new to the site so I haven’t rated very many yet), certainly one of the freshest, greenest IPAs out there, go Sierra Nevada

35cl bottle. Poured a clear, ruddy copper with a mostly lasting and easily regenerative rocky two finger off-white head, leaving some bubbles & thickness on the sides of the glass. Lime, pine, grapefruit hops and caramel/toffee malt aromas. Grapefruit & pine bitter hop flavours with a lovely strawberry, peachy sweetness in the back. The finish isn’t too lingering or harsh, nicely rounded with just a bit of clinging peppery bite. Some brightness from the carbonation keeps the mouthfeel fresh on a medium body.

Pours a darkish red with a big head, left lots a lots of lace on the glass. Aroma is very hop forward with some citrus notes as well as some grassy and earthy notes. Drinks smooth although it does have an emphatic bitterness from the get go. It finishes dry with a nice hoppy flavor that goes til the end.

Had this one right after drinking Samuel Adams Latitude 48 and found this one to be easier drinking... Not at all saying Latitue 48 is bad, its actually a very good beer... but this one wasn’t as sweet and to me made it easier to drink... very good beer.
