3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a clear orange with a thick white head with good lace and plenty of effervescence. The aroma is floral and piney with a nice mild caramel sweetness. The flavor is very hoppy but surprisingly well balanced. There are plenty of very bitter notes and a good caramel malty background. Flavors of mango and bitter orange peel shine through. This is surprisingly watery for an IPA of this strength. This reminds me quite a bit of the other SN seasonal IPAs, itís nice to have it around year round though.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
20090315 12oz bottle, RB Spirits, available everywhere. Good looking but standard in appearance with a copper-golden color and small, lasting white head that leaves blotches of lace. Aroma is spruce, cat piss, and light grapefruit. Pleasant, mellow, and unassertive, though definitely American -- a beer that will be a fine gateway and surely a fridge standard. Body is medium-light with vigorous eff on the palate. Finish is dry and bitter with a pithy bite and lingering dryness. A good bit stronger than necessary, making this no good for a session. There is some alcohol presence that comes through with temp on the back of the palate.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
This is the kind of beer I like to drink. I can only imagine that Sierra Nevada decided to roll this out in the wake of the phenomanal success of Celebration on a seasonal basis. But, hey if you can brew it all year round, why not, right? Beer pours up all that one could ask for, dark honeyed colored al whith a massive, off white, totally retained head. Aroma is spot on with hops and more hops, piney and citric. Flavor is ad infinituem, delicous hop bitterness and more. I am a big Celebration fan and this will do nicely until the next batch arrive. Prost, Tad

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Orange amber pour with a cream head that fades fast. Nose is citrusy with great floral notes. Nice on the palate with a well balaced hop flavor.

This is such a great beer. Big hoppy citrus aroma. Big pour with nice lacing. Juicy hop and citrus flavor with a semi sticky finish.
Super! and less than $9 a six. What more could you ask for

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottles - Purchased at The Perfect Pour. chill hazed orange, thick off white creamy head. Soft hoppy pink grapefruit and pine aromas ride a light sweet malt undertone. Upfront citric pine and grassy hop flavors balance on a light toasted caramel malt backbone. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bittersweet finish. A great addition to the SN year round lineup. Very well done...

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Spicy/fruity smells hit you right up front, moderate malt and hops aromas of caramel and pine, light soap note for the yeast, with hints of wood, pepper and paper. Head is large, rocky, slightly off-white, with good lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is a clear pale reddish tan. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, watery yet a little oily, and has a carbonation between soft and lively. Not a great smelling IPA, but the flavor makes up for it. Itís also extremely easy drinking.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle into Sam Adams glass.
Pours a clear, effervescent dark copper, with a fluffy one finger off-white head that sticks around awhile, actually getting bigger and denser as the glass wore on. Interesting.
Nose is soft and citrusy, a bit piney. Not very bold.
Taste is clean and citrusy. Clean citrusy hops with a piney astringency sit on top of a mildly sweet, not-quite-biscuity malt note. As the beer warms, the sweet turns a bit caramelly, and the citrus melds with the sweetness to get a bit more pronounced. Clean but fairly astringent at the same time, if that makes sense.
Mouthfeel is moderately carbonated, sharp, with a medium-full mouthfeel thatís just a bit oily.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
12oz bottle poured into a snifter rich brass color with a good amount of orange tinted suds. Great citrusy hop aroma is present. The flavor is a spot on IPA, great bitter floral hops carried along with the right amount of malty sweetness. I would say medium bodied, pretty carbonated. Another solid brew from Chico.
