Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

Pours deep orange/amber with a thick head. Aroma is caramel, apricots and lots of hops. Flavour is loads of resiny hops. There’s also some notes of salty liquorice. Really long bitterness.

Pours light amber with frothy head. Aroma is pleasantly hoppy, just a touch of grass. Very nice hop flavor. Balanced towards hop and not malt as expected. Clean with bitter finish. Tasty.

Bottled at Hunter’s. Hazy amber, nice pale head with tight creamy lace. Sweet, mildly exotic fruity nose, hint of resin, lots of caramel, kiwi. Flavor is mellow pine, clean yeastiness, sweet malts, resin and licorice in the finish, along with some grapefruit bitterness. Very soft mouhfilling palate. That yeast mellows it quite a bit, but that makes it just more drinkable. A nice little brother to Bigfoot, there’s a lot similarity in the hop profile.

(12 oz bottle) Copper in color with a light gold head. Left a nice lace on the glass, but seemed to go away quickly. Aroma is floral/ piney with taste to back it up. For a "Extra IPA" I expected a less balanced beer with more hops coming through in both aroma and taste.

Brilliant clear copper with a creamy offwhite head. Beautiful sticky lacing. Fresh pungent hops! Floral, Pine, Citrus, Tropical Fruits... the hops are crazy! A caramel bready malt background. Medium bodied, sticky, dry, bitter, extremely hoppy brew.

12 oz. bottle. Pours an amber gold with tan-white head. Smells of bitter citrus hops. Citrus hoppy taste, quite bitter. Grapefruit. Definitely good.

12 oz bottle from Princeton’s. Orange pour with a decent head. Slightly hoppy aroma with a bit of pine coming through. Flavor is on the bitter side as is the finish. Decent beer but the bitter comes through a bit too much for me more than the flavor.

12 oz bottle poured into a tulip. Deep, clear amber with thin beige head. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, with floral and piney hops. Taste is pine hops and sweet malt, nicely balanced. Mouthfeel is quite crisp and medium bodied, good carbonation. Very easy to drink and smooth IPA!

Amber in color with a white head and initial lacing. There seems to be a slight haze to the beer. Decent hop aroma with not much on the floral note side. Medium body with the scale tilted to the bitter side. The balance could use some attention and the finish is shorter than I expected. Not the beer I was looking for with this "extra IPA".

Bottle. Nice head with excellent duration. Color is clear amber. Visually very lively with lots of carbonation. Aroma and taste are rich with hops and flowers and has a very nice long bitter finish. Some caramel notes. Could use a little more sweetness to compliment the hops.
