Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

Very good. I had it with a Troegs Nugget Nectar which is my favorite and it holds up pretty well. Nice aroma and good hop flavor. Nicely bitter and dry finish.

Pours copper coloured. sweet floral aroma with hints of grass. Full hoppy taste with pine. Finish is bold and dry. Has that ’Sierra Nevada’ taste...which is good.

Huge, even yellow head, leaving textbook lace over clear copper-amber beer. Deep maltcake with hopsyrup nose; extremely seducive. C-hops to the fore. Very bitter onset, then more aroma hops, but finishing pretty metallic all the same. Bit of fruity lemonflavour, but not much else. Short sharpish MF, quite carbonated. Hops go on & on... Seriously Indian pale ale. Big thanks to DavidA!

A nice golden color with white head. Mild hops and faint malt on the aroma. Very very nice hop body with a mild malt balance and a bitter aftertaste.

quite enjoyable, probably their best ipa offering that i have had, at least out of a bottle. the wet hop ales, so far, have been a let down from the bottle. i find it interesting to see SN pushing out so many more beers as of late. not that i am complaining or anything.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear orange with a tan head and nice lacing. Nose is of grass and citrus hops. Taste has the same grass and citrus hops with bready malt. Mouthfeel is medium with resinous texture and bitter finish. Good carbonation.

Waffle waffle waffle - I like this just fine, but in an attempt to distinguish whether I like it more or less than SNCA I just canNOT make up my mind. Good stuff to say the least and I’ve now had either 12 or 18 so I guess that alone says plenty.

Pours a crystal amber. A fluffy light amber head is very predominant. Visible signs of high carbonation. Aroma is softly hoppy. Not too over powering. Some malt notes in there. Taste is hoppy but not as biting as it could be. The bitterness is mellow and encompasses the majority of the tongue. Has a fairly long hop finish that spreads from the back of the tongue outwards. Mildly warming. Well balanced hoppiness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with lots of carbonation. Overall and excellent and if not overly drinkable IPA.

12 ounce bottle - $1.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia. Appearance: Pours a faintly hazy, deep, dark amber body with a thin, white head. Smell: Herbaceous, fresh-cut grass scent with a touch of citrus blanket the bolstered pale malts with a meager note of toasted caramel. Taste: Pale maltiness with a light caramel sweetness and just the faintest bit of toastiness to it. Generous hop flavors of citrus, pine needles, and peppery, grassy herbs with a bright, medium-high bitterness. A final acknowledgment of all the hop flavors for the bittersweet finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: For me, it came across as a dialed up version of the SNPA, but that’s just me. Overall, it’s a solid, reasonably well-balanced IPA.

Pours a clear dark gold, big rocky head that settles down into some nicely clinging lacing. Aroma is very hoppy, lots of citrus with a little pine. Lighter mouthfeel than I was expecting, not stick at all. Bitter aftertaste...a deadly session beer.
