COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

Pours a reddish gold with minimal diminishing head. Aroma is very hoppy. Almost over the top with hops and some breast notes. Taste is a very bitter strong hop flavor. Pretty harsh on the palate.

Aroma is floral, grassy citrus.appears slightly reddish gold with an ample beige head. Taste is lightly bitter, smooth with a good balance of pine, spruce and slight citrus. A good all around example of the style.

Bottle from Sierra Nevada variety pack. Very attractive looking beer. Deep orange. Long lasting head with a glass clinging presence. Floral and citrus hops right away on the nose. Grapefruit and a heavy hop bitterness in the taste. A near cloying, dry mouthfeel. End is mostly bitter with a lingering not entirely pleasant aftertaste. Probably worth skipping.

Bottle. Really nice orange color with a ton of white head and lacing. Lots of hop pine flavor with some citrus. Super dry and hoppy all the way. Bitterness is strong and lasting. About what I expected. A powerful beer that can sink a battleship.
