Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

On tap at broadway brewhouse. Dark amber pour. Light cirtus in the nose. Smooth medium body, some malt presence. Mild hops for an ipa. The malts here are the difference.

Utóíze a korty folytatása, a keserűje nagyon sokáig megmarad. Testes, de nem nehéz, jól iható.

355 ml bottle. BB Jun 29 2016. Quite clear, amber colour, medium off-white head, medium to low carbonation, nice lacing. Aroma is subdued, hints of bread ad hops to the nose. Mouthfeel is dry and sticky, low level of carbonation. Taste is kind of OK, but far from the sensation I was expecting, thinking of my earlier encounters with the Torpedo. I remember it to be way better than this particular bottle. What a shame.

The least expensive IPA in my local market is actually quite a worthy IPA. Scents of citrus and fresh cut grass. Smooth and easy. Very enjoyable.
