3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUL 11, 2014 Hazy orange in color. Orange peel and pine. A good bit maltier than many IPAs. Crisp dry finish. Nicely balanced for an IPA IMHO.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Amber body, stable white head leaves some lacing behind. Not the strongest aroma of pine and malts. Taste is a sharp bitterness at first, balanced out by a sticky, caramelly malt backbone, leaving behind a lasting spicy and dry aftertaste. Body is full, average+ carbonation. Pretty nice, only the aroma was disappointing.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A: Strong pleasant citrus & flowery pine notes with a subtle, sweet malt smell.
A: Clear reddish amber (filtered) and a tall white head.
T: Piney like eating a forest, but it is still subtly sweet. It coats the tongue nicely and lingers. This it the right amount of hopiness, solid bitter; bready sweet malt flavors combine for a true IPA treat.
P: medium body, dry, above average carbination, refreshing & not filling.
O: A very solid ipa on all counts.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Rich, reddish, golden colour. Bright floral aroma similar to Founderís Centennial. The head is good and yellowish. Slight smell of corn with a toasty caramel note. Flavour is sweet with a little caramel but also slightly metallic. The bitterness somewhat overpowers the what would be quite delicate floral flavours. Itís still nice but maybe made in too large batches to really have that true craft beer essence any more.

Aroma has resin and pine flavor. Pours hazy amber with a normall head that leaves beautiful lacing. Taste has medium sweetness and heavy bitterness.
Taste has a lot of pine resin. Full bodied with average carbonation. Long bitter finish. Overall an excellent IPA with a good balance.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Beautiful pour amber red with fluffy head. Lots of pine and hoppy goodness in the sniff. Quite a bitter ipa. Not much in the way of fruits like some, this one is dry and as I read somewhere else, "aggressive". Would pair nicely with some spicy Mexican or Indian food Iím sure. Not an everyday sipper, but quite ideal for food pairing.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A 12 fl oz bottle with a packaged date of 14th May 2015 and poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass. The beer poured a very nice deep clear copper colour with a one and a half finger slightly off white head that dissipates slowly to a thin soapy layer while leaving some nice stringy lacing. Pine and citrus grapefruit aromas dominate with a hint of orange. Tastes are sweet malts and caramel to start followed by citrus grapefruit and pine and hints of tropical fruits. Medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. Overall a nice IPA that is crisp and refreshing. I would buy this again.
