COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

Aroma is solid but not mouthwatering, great color and exceptional smoothness. I look for more assertive hops in my IPA’s butt this is a go to IPA when local options are short.

Bottle. Cloudy amber with offwhite head; persistent lacing. Aroma is piney with citrus notes. Taste is moderately bitter, but well balanced. Medium body with crisp carbonation. Solid IPA.

short rate. bottle, amber, creamy head. Caramel, herbal and citrus hops, pleasant bitterness, not nearly as sweet as aroma might suggest. Amazed I’ve never had this.

350 ml bottle. Clear amber with big white head. Fresh fruity lemon smell with some hidden bitterness. Fresh taste at first with lemon and flowers. Then a sharp bitterness strikes. Light body makes the bitterness linger and last long.

Bottle from 4-Way IPA 12 Pack. Good thing I searched for this because I had no idea I didn’t rate it. Clear copper pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma of citrusy hoppiness with a toasted bready malt background. Flavor is very similar and zesty with a sweet mid palate balance and a lingering bitter finish. Not bad.

12 oz. bottle form Aggie. Appearance: three fingers slightly off white head that lasts, gold yellow, clear, good lacing. Aroma: orange and grapefruit citrus, pine, light caramel. Palate: light body, lasting bitter finish, dry finish, alcohol/sticky texture, averager to soft carbonation. Taste: nice sweetness with a crash of bitterness coming through. Well done beer, the bitterness is great and stands above the sweet start.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with a nice beige frothy lasting head that leaves excellent lacing. Nose of caramel but none of the ’over-the-top hop aromas’ as advertised. Interesting flavors of burnt sugar, grapefruit, bread dough, sweet grapes. Lightly bitter, medium sweet taste, medium body, creamy texture, balanced but leaning toward the malt side, average to soft carbonation and a lightly bitter somewhat sticky sweet finish.
