COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

Good drinkable, bitter IPA but doesn't break into the upper tier of IPAs. Could be an older bottle, but the hop character isn't very complex. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cracking stuff, stumbled across it in Ruprai, great find. At 3 o’clock I’m talking about repeats, at 5 o’clock I’m celebrating a tick. Go figure.

A great, oldschool interpretation of the american twist on the style. A well balanced hop profile, both in aroma and bitterness, complements the malt body (adequate viscosity slightly tending towards the watery side, a bit overcarbonated; notes of caramel, little figs, walnut) with a structure refinedly built around a tropical orientation, with hints of citrus/grapefruit, mango, passion fruit, pineapple. An ever-living standard ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a 16 oz can. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, and pine. Flavor is pine, citrus, orange, lemon, grapefruit, and a very nice caramel backbone. Very solid Ipa, nice and balanced.

Orange colour with a moderate head. Aromas of resin and pine wood, syrupy mouthfeel. Not much bitterness of hops.

December 2009. Bottle. Copper color with a white head. Have all the right things going on, and is widely available. One of the best every day IPA’s out there.

Not very intensive citrus hoppy aroma. Medium, long-lasting head with good lacing. Hoppy bitterness in taste, but feels bit watery. I was expecting more from an extra ipa. Very drinkable, but not astonishing.

12 oz. bottle poured into a tulip glass. Appearance is golden amber with a thick light-tan head. Aroma is a multitude of citrus, pine, and floral scents. The taste is similar, with emphasis on the pine. There is also an earthy taste to it and a bitter aftertaste. Crisp without being overpowering. I’m a big fan of this IPA.

Botella 35cl. Aroma potente y floral donde resaltan bien los lúpulos. De apariencia y cuerpo ligeros, no se resiente en el paladar y el amargor final tampoco es exagerado. Además es muy refrescante.

On tap at Whole Foods in Market Square in Fairfax, VA. Szymanski, orange-copper medium/dark amber with an off-white head and excellent lacing. Aroma of orange and piney hops. Taste of pine, orange, grapefruit and light malt. OK, bitter and not balanced, but still delicious. Full/medium body and high/medium carbonization produce a robust mouthfeel appropriate to the robust flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
