COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

Bottle. Pleasant hoppy aroma, average carbonation. Strong hop flavor, slightly sweet. Slightly bitter finish. Very strong flavorful IPA, but with ABV 7.2, much too strong for after a hockey game. Definitely a sipping beer, not a post-game beer.

Tasted from bottle. Pours a hazy orange amber with thick white head. Tons of lacing. Aroma is tropical and stone fruits, earthy notes and a little caramel. Taste is very well balanced. Flavors of pine, citrus, caramel, toffee, biscuits, syrup. Moderate bitterness and mild to moderate sweetness. Nice clean bitterness throughout. Very good IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from M&S. Pours amber with a good cream head. Fresh aroma of tropical fruit. The taste is mango with bitter pine and a nice amount of underlying caramel. Full creamy mouth feel. Very nice.

Bottle bought at Malt Attacks. Golden with a big head that lasts forever. Piney, hoppy, little fruity, malty backbone. Good IPA.

The only mass produced real IPA. Hard to find on draft so settle for the bottled version which doesn’t have as good an aroma.

Clear copper with a medium sized off white head. Citrus, pot and white bread in the nose. Fairly malt dominated with bread and light toffee, but also some pine, wood, light citrus, flowers. Medium body, oily texture, fluffy carbonation, medium sweet and bitter. Mouthfeel is nice. Overall bit too malty and restrained on the aroma hops for my taste.
