COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

Bottled at Sorbon, Bromma, Stockholm. Clear amber, rocky head. Concentrated hoppy juicy sweaty nose. Full bodied with soft, dense mouthfeel. The malt sweetness frowns in an ocean of orangey salty hops. Lovely seemless flaour where everything seem perfctly intergrated and harmonious. Finishes with massive bitterness that still never feels the slightest assaulting. A top IPA.

18th September 2008. Clear amber beer. Rich and creamy with a deep hop flavour. Creamy grapefruit that is bitter but not overly so but does lead in to quite a bitter lingering aftertatse. Some marmalde in there too.

Round mouthfeel, caramel and toffee flavor, moderate sweetness, strong hopping with late resins. Pleasant but not exciting; 1½ IPA. Solid brew.

2011-07-09, bottle, bb 15.03.12, hopefully 4 months old, 7-5-7-4-14=37
Beautiful amber color, bright; medium sized creamy head. The aroma is earthy, a bit sandy, not only hoppy; some pond water too. The flavor is quite good, toffee and caramel, dry; strong hopping, although the aromatic components of the hops are not so evident.
Solid.

2009-06-20, bottle at Nya Tröls, Malmö, 7-5-7-4-14=37
Shining orange-amber color, creamy head. The aroma shows some resiny hop, but I expected more. Medium body, good toffee flavor, quite round mouthfeel, not sweet; strong hopping, quite oily and resiny, not fruity. Both aroma and flavor are a bit creamy. The hops are more aromatic than large scale beers, but less than most craft beers. Strong final, a bit nutty. Not exciting, but very solid brew.
