COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

12 Fl. Oz. bottle. Poured a hazy amber with a foamy head. Nice hops aroma as an IPA should combined with some citrus fruits and malts. Flavor is hoppy, bitter but not overwhelming; balanced nicely with some malts and fruits flavors. Dry finish, very decent beer.

Love it. A good old faithful drop that delivers what an IPA should. Hops, flavour and it goes down easy.

A delicious hoppy IPA. A fine example of a west coast craft IPA. A beer to be savored and respected.

Tap: Deep amber color with orange & copper highlights; off-white, eggshell cap crowns the top nicely. Aroma is heavy with pine, resin, hemp oil, flower petals, leaves, a hint of toasted caramel malt, citrus rind, grapefruit peel, white pepper, & orange zest. Flavor follows through the same way. Resinous pine, earthy spice, bitter citrus rind, grass & hop oil with a touch of sweet bread & very faint caramel malt sweetening up the finish. Medium bodied, good carbonation. A really nice IPA, a classic.

Pours yellow gold from 12 oz with thick creamy head. Floral and light citrus aroma. Hoppy, resinous taste with edgy though short lived bitter finish. Medium full bodied. Nice ipa overall, smooth and drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500cl can poured into a Struise glass. Hazy orange with a short-lived (slightly) off white head. Aroma floral hops and bit of sweetness. Taste is juicy hops with a slightly thinner mouthfeel than typical of the style and generally a little underwhelming. I have since tried this on tap and found things to be slightly better. This is a good solid IPA but I have tried better at the same price point.

This is a stand-out IPA. I wonder how much it has changed over the years, if at all, to compete with the newer crazy hopped IPAs coming on the market these days. Just a solid IPA.

Bottle (12oz $1.40): Clear copper with white head. Not much aroma. Body is medium plus, thicker than I expected. Taste sweetness and bitterness. Grapefriut and pine.
