Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

Moderate bitterness, bready malt, hops are mostly piney but there are fruit/citrus notes. Good balance between the malt and hops. This used to be one of my favorite IPAs but after having so many great beers recently this just seems to blend in with the rest of the pack. Still a great choice though.

Bottle. Pours golden color. Strong head. Very balanced, light toast, complex hops, hops, and more piney hops on the finish. All an American IPA should be.

Bottle in Belgrade/Serbia. I was together with markoijelena and we have had few solid west coast IPAs few days before. I drunk this beer over two years ago in FLA and I remember it much hoppier and bitter; with Marko we assumed the bottle was not fresh anymore. A consultation with luttonm revealed that the bottle was ok and the beer was meant for a wide distribution which foresees long time for transportation, import/export and selling. The beer therefore is not meant to be drunk fresh. Pours a clear orange/ golden colour, white foamy head which leaves a bubbling surface. Nose of yeast and caramel malts and not much of that hops it claims. Mouth is balanced and malty and very good if you don't expect t an hoppy strike. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Of course IPAs are one of my favorite beer styles...anyways...I enjoyed this brew very much....there is only one word that describes this beer best: "balance" - it is just about the right balance....

Pours a dark copper, burnt orange with a decent head. Grassy aromas apparant lolling back to pine. My first beer all day, ive had this one before so have been really frothing for it, you can imagine. Floral notes on the palate, very hoppy initially. The malt backbone provides a creamy hearty flavour eventually ending in the traditional bitterness. I love this beer, well done.
