Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

Great all around IPA. Well balanced. Malt flavor present but not bready. Moderately bitter but to style. Great aroma just wish there was a little more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Toasted pecan, pretzel, and carrot. Piney. Mixed stone and citrus fruits. Fairly viscous. Well balanced. Not just a hop bomb. Goes great with hearty winter comfort foods. I’ve put it in a chili and a beef stew. Really enjoyable.

2nd from the SN ipa variety pack and it’s huge improvement. So we all know this pours a nice reddish brown with a massive off-white head. Nice citrusy hop aroma with a hint of pine. Good flavor, dry finish. A very drinkable beer that seems to be available all year.

At the wild game at the Xcel energy center and one of the better beers available from the craft station. Nice IPA with a smooth bite that lifts generously off the tongue.

33 cl bottle. Clear amber with small off-white head. Malty aroma, notes of grapefruit and hops. Sweet flavour, grassy. Hoppy end

Bold toasted earthy malts, hop, mild spice notes on the tongue. The burnt flavor and the caramel sweet hops don?t add up favorably to me. Some bite in the finish. Getting a lot of artificially flavored malts in this. It?s never sat right with me.

The color is clear and dark ambery with normal foam. The smell is sweet and a bit hoppy. The taste is sweet and hoppy bitter. Nothing sensational, but well crafted. The aftertaste is sweet bitter and a tiny hit tart. Nice beer.

Amber color with big white head. Nice grapefruit, pines and citrus aroma. Taste is sweet and hoppy, but the body is not so intense. Quite nice, but there?s much better DIPAs.

Poured from a bottle. Local grocery store. This is typical for so many brewers trying to reach the Average American Palate by making their beers cloyingly sweet. An IPA should not be sweet. Aroma. Caramel and yeast. Appearance. Dark amber color. Medium head. Some thin lacing. Taste: Some pine notes with alcohol followed by a sticky caramel sweetness that lingers as an aftertaste. Palate: Medium body with a sticky long sweet finish. Overall: Probably one of the worst IPAs out there. For the average American palate I’m sure it’s great because of the sweetness as that is the trend in both beer and wine. For a good IPA, look elsewhere.
