COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2012 From Bottle: Average smell, good appearance. A good IPA. Nothing unusual or different then a typical IPA Draft a year later: Much improved aroma.. smelled like someone dropped an orange in it. A very good IPA.

This is an amazing brew! Definitely the best I've tried so far. I haven't tried many, but this will be difficult to top for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pleasant hoppy aroma, average carbonation. Strong hop flavor, slightly sweet. Slightly bitter finish. Very strong flavorful IPA, but with ABV 7.2, much too strong for after a hockey game. Definitely a sipping beer, not a post-game beer.

A hazy golden caramel color with a finger of white head with pretty good lacing. Smells of caramel, citrus, floral hops, bread. A fair amount of bitter on the tongue initially but a good amount of sweet to balance. The floral notes hit in the aftertaste with a lingering bitter along with some cracker/bread. Good overall, enjoyed. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle pours a golden brown color with a bit of head. Full hop flavors that seem to increase in intensity, yet very easy going.

Extra IPA for sure. It’s a slightly milder version of Celebration but just a bit too hoppy still for my palate. It has a decent floral hop aroma and an impressive copper pour with a big white head that leaves a lot of lacing. The citrus hops hit early but the finish is a bitter bomb explosion. It leaves your mouth pretty dry and makes it slightly hard to drink fast. It’s a solid beer but a touch overrated in my opinion.

Bottle @ brew wharf. Orange brown with slight haze. Not as much on the nose as I thought there might be - slightly funky hops, some overripe fruit maybe. Tasted good, though. Slight funky tropical fruit sweetness with a little choc malt which then turns into the bitter grapefruit with slightly tonic edge. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pous deep cloudy red with hops bursting from the frothy head. There is a lot of piney citrus notes and enticing grapefruit near the finish. The flavor is a lot sweeter than anticipated but full of bitter notes and finishes with an astringent end. Great IPA

A light sweet aroma. Such a full flovour it is intense, slight sweetness, citrus, a lil toffee. Nice light brown colour. A good IPA.

I may have had an old beer when I had this because it seemed as though it had lost a lot of its hop flavor. Mine was very malty and almost a bit skunky (age may have caused the off flavors?)
