Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

This is my current favorite. Coming to this beer, my standard of reference was the ordinary Sierra Nevada Pale Ale that you see everywhere. This is much hoppier and, I suspect, has a higher alcohol content than that one. I think of ales like this as "stoner" ales because of the primo aroma. Not a beer for novices. If this were your first beer, you’d probably not have a second one, because of the bitterness of the hops, but if you graduate to this from the ordinary SN Pale, you have a great surprise. I buy this by the case at Costco. I think SN Brewing is test-marketing this to us at Costcos in Northern California.

355 ml bottle. Pours clear light amber with a decent white lasting head. Strong Ripe tangerine dominates the aroma, otherwise hoppy. Taste of grapefruit, ripe tangerine which gives away to long lasting high hoppy bitterness. Heavy to drink, not refreshing.

Slightly above average hoppy aroma. Good mouthfeel and lingering finish. Not sure I’d quite classify this as a "sessionable" IPA as the brewery claims. It’s definitely got bite. Pretty tasty overall.

Nice Deep orange colour with foamy head. Aroma of pine and citrus, yet a more complex feel to due to the presence of malt aromas. Good bitterness that is finely balanced with the malts

Orange bis hellbraun mit starkem festen Kopf, dominantes Kräuteraroma etwas Citrus, sehr bitter im Geschmack aber niemals unangenehm dank des starken Malzkörpers mit ordentlich Alkohol.

Pours a bright orange amber color with a thin white ring. Nice light citrus aroma. Very bitter with a harsh finish and aftertaste. Not very refreshing or enjoyable.

Ótima formaçăo e estabilidade na espuma, coloraçăo cobreada. Aroma e sabor com lúpulo perceptível, clássico do estilo. Uma delícia

Efter första "hela" jobbveckan efter semester satt denna som en sportkeps. Riktigt god var den och jag var välförtjänt av den. Nu är det helg.

Hazy dark orange with little white head. Aroma is melon, some grass, very fine stuff. Taste is a bomb of bitterness and resin, a little citrussy sourness. Not exactly subtle. Hence the low drinkabilty, resin like mouthfeel as well, actually a little more fine bubbled than resin. Good but the aroma predicted something else than the typical resin bomb.
