COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sierra Nevada uses malt within days of roasting at the peak of its flavor to give Tumbler a gracefully smooth malt character. Two-row pale, crystal 40, chocolate and smoked malts give it a malty complexity. Challenger hops in the boil add balancing bitterness, while more Challengers and some Goldings give just enough hop flavor in the finish to balance all that malt.

Bottle. Poured clear dark brown color with a large frothy brown head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate toasted sweety malt and smal hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable brew that I would recommend to a freind.

Bottle, bought @ Ørsted Ølbar, Cph.
Pours a nice chestnut with a big, frothy, off-white head. Mild caramelly aroma with some hazel, a little piney hops. Lowish carbonation, fin dry and rather creamy palate. Flavour is quite elegant. Good fruity hops, resiny and grapefruit with a fine caramel malty base. Good, even if it still is a brown ale...
