With some swirling of the bottle was able to get a light yellow hazy brew. The aroma was that of a watered down wheat and with a big sniff could pick out a little citris used in it. The taste was about the same. Really had to stir up the bottle before pour to get anything at all.

Sep 24, 2008 12 oz. Hazy, golden pear color with a two-finger meringue head that leaves creamy icing on the glass. Lemon, spicy yeast and light honey aromas. Flavors of wheat, biscuit, lemon-honey, a touch of pepper and some grassiness bordering on chives! Light-medium body alternates between smooth and fizzy, is lightly tingly and nearly astringently dry.

Sep 21, 2008 This beer is utterly bland and a severe disappointment. It is for the light beer drinkers. Poured it down the drain.

Sep 21, 2008 Bottle SB&WF-08 - Hazy golden colored beer with a large frothy head. Aroma is rather malty and wheat like with some hints of hops and spices. Flavor is again wheat like with some dry hops. A bit disapointed with this SN beer. Its got the typical SN feel to it but I’m not at all pleased with the whole result.

Sep 20, 2008 Bottle. Light notes of hay, herbs and lemon, a moderate dough aroma for the yeast, and banana and white wine in the background. Head is frothy white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is slightly hazy gold. Flavor starts moderately acidic and finishes moderately acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, dry and has a lively to fizzy carbonation. It finishes very dry. An okay beer but it didn’t have the attributes I’m used to in a quality wheat ale.

Sep 15, 2008 Updated: Sep 22, 2008Pretty pitiful effort from SN. Gold pour and a puffy white head follows. Aroma is a bit grainy and lacks the good spice/yeast aroma that a good wheat will have. Flavor is grainy and some notes of wheat...but it isnt really what I would have expected.
