PPSAF ’07. No head at all with a woody smoky aroma. Taste is sweet caramel with molasses dipped toothpicks. I’m not done with BA beers just yet.

Sweet malt forward nose with an almost Jolly Rancher character. Sweet toffee and vanilla on the palate with no discernible hop flavors and mild bitterness. Sweet candy finish.

On tap @ The Bistro poured a clear dark copper with a minimal lin gering amber head. Aromas of carmel, citrus, light bourbon and a hint of oak. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of citrus, carmel and light5 bourbon with a crisp lightly bitter finish.

(on tap @ the ba bistro fest)basically the hops were mellowed out and a bit of oak,and vanilla were added.i cant really say much more than that.

ChillCoat (1029) - Concord, California, USA - MAY 10, 2006
On draft @ Boonville Beer festival. Caramel color with an ivory head. The bubbles seem to rise in slow motion-like they’re rising through oil or something, weird. Sweet, oaky nose. Sweet candy or bubble-gum flavors, very candy-like in it’s flavor. Strong vanilla notes. Somewhat hoppy finish.
