Solid black body with dark brown head. Chocolate and oak on the nose. Roasted malts chocolate oak, funk and sourness in the body. Very nice.

Draft at O’Brien’s. Nice Chocolate and Sweet Coffee aromas off this super dark pour with a nice tan head. Flavors were wood, and more chocolate and coffee. A very good stout. I liked this one a lot.

Sampled at the second annual Bistro’s West Coast Barrel Aged Beer Fest: Pours a nearly opaque dark mahogany with a well-lacing dark tan head. Aroma of woody vanilla and toasty dark caramel and chocolate maltiness. Body starts fairly rich and earthy dark chocolatey with good woody complexity and balance toward a drier oaky finish. A nice, barrel-aged stout.

Tap at Blind Tiger. Deep dark brown in color with a nice fluffy tan head. Malty vanilla and bourbon aroma. Caramel vanilla oak notes. Caramel roasty chocolatety malty flavor. Roasty notes. Rich and creamy. Full bodied. Well balanced beer. Nice.
