Gyllene i färgen med litet vitt skum. Doftar söt malt, karamell, gräs. Smakar sött, karamell, majs, popcorn, gräs. Len i munnen med sockersöt avslutning.

330mL thanks to nimbleprop. Pours a clear, sparkling deeper gold. Soapy white foam. No lace. Nose is honey, cherries, candy corn. Not skunky despite green bottle. Taste is nothing I haven’t experienced countless times before :candy corn, sticky orange gum drops, soap, mealy apple. It’s drinkable but not very good. Not an upgrade from tusker. Becomes papery and very bland.

Hmmm, Platinum? Hmmm... Mild Ale? Hmmm... Ultra smooth Kenyan beer? How about none of these things. Full disclosure, if you’re looking for good beer, Africa is not the continent to travel to. Alas, when you find yourself in the land of obscure pale lagers... tick them. 12oz bottle I picked up at Ya Ya Centre. Pours a clear, hay color with a small ring of creamy white head. Nose is all sugar, wet LME, grass, straw. Flavor is overly sweet, almost a bit syrupy like treacle, grass. Watery finish. Neither a mild ale, nor ultra smooth, nor platinum anything. But it’s Africa and my bottle was cold so I drank it.

Bottle. Clear golden yellow color, thick white head with good retention, solid lacing. Aroma of dilute straw. Taste is similar. Very plain.

330 ml bottle in Kenya. Pours a deep glod color with a very full white head. Aroma is sweet malt and spices. Taste is a subdued sweet malt like flavor. Palate is also quite smooth.
