Pours orange with a big frothy white head. Body is clear. Aroma of sweet apricot, nutmeg, apple pie, and spices. Flavor starts with sweet fruit that borders on marmalade, then transitions to barnyard flavors, spiciness and fruit. Finish is mildly tart, herbally, and alcoholic. Body is full and slightly syrupy with dryness on the finish. This is a full-flavored ale to be sure, very complex and tasty. II personally think the finishing flavors could have used more acidity and brett for heightened balance.

Orange nutmeg aroma. Murky brownish orange with thin beige head. Dry, boozy orange. Smooth, creamy carbonated bitterness, warmness as it goes down. Light orange peel aftertaste, like soft triple sec.

750 ml. bottle. Pours a very opaque orange-brown color. Almost the color of apple cider. Huge, rocky white head. Big pear notes, a little booze, yeast, and candy sweetness in the nose. High carbonation but it is very fine. Light, dry mouthfeel. Reminds of a hard cider in many ways. Fruity with a nice touch of bitterness on the palate. I didn’t get the resinous hop quality or the strong citrus notes they suggest on the label. It seems that they have blended together quite nicely. A dry and bitter finish. Different and fun to drink. Definitely worth a try!

Bottle thanks to 17thfloor. Pours a clear orange with a beige creamy head. Yeasty creamy nose that’s soapy with orange citrus becoming ever more dirty. Dirty earthy herbal flavors. Oranges soapy and dirty. Um. .. wha happened? not good, gonna have to drain pour this one.

How have I sat on this bottle for so long?... Hazy orange pour fizzy off white head and a thick drippy lace. Green apple and brett on the nose. Fruit flavor (banana) with a tarty twist. Dry finish

bottle corked and caged poured an amber in color with a nice fizzy off white head that left a nice swirling at the surface. aroma has Belgian yeast, sweetness, hops, basement funk, and some ripe fruit. mouth feel is medium and the carbonation frothy. flavor has a well malted core, Belgian yeast, light spice, and some bitter hops. there is definitely both American and Belgian components here but neither seems to take the lead.

Bottle thanks to 17thfloor. Clear amber with large long lasting white head. Aroma is funky, brett, a little bad infection, urinal cake. Dirty flavor, bread, kind of pissy. Medium to light body with light carbonation. Meh, I remembered this being better.

Bottled @ jbrus. Hazy orange color, short head, some lacing. Aroma and taste remind me of Orval. Nicely bitter, obvious dry hopped taste with some Brett sourness. I quite like it.
