One of the better fusion styles I have tried. The aroma is filled with citrus and yeast. The yeastyness balances out the hops in the flavor perfectly.

Bottle shared by Taverner, pours hazy pale orange with creamy white head. Nose is yeast, farmhouse funk like with some and banana and other fruit influence. Smooth on the palate, and better after each drink!

Pours a murky, coppery-orange color with a full, white, rocky, fluffy head which settles fairly quickly to an average, creamy layer and leaves minimal sporatic lace. Nose is innovative and complex; citrus notes of tangerine, brett notes of overripe peaches, floral hops, bready and dusty yeast notes, malty notes of honey and almonds, and other notes including white pepper and miscellaneous herbs. Flavor is similar but progresses quickly; honey and almonds followed by grapefruit peel and apricot. Notes leading into the finish include floral tones, light white pepper, light herbs, and dusty yeast. Palate is medium to medium-full, dry towards the finish, lively, and moderately creamy. Finishes quickly with an almost limey citrus, dry almond notes lingering, leafy hops, and a moderately light bitterness. An interesting new take on the golden Belgain beers with the American hopping techniques. Certainly complex, but the flavor progression is quick and the hops kill the normally nice finish of the golden Belgain. A well put together, and complex beer, even if it wasn’t my favorite brew.

750 ml. Hazy burnt orange with a large head that leaves sugary lace all over. Aroma is orange, clove, banana, apple and lemon. Flavor is banana, melon, bubblegum and more light fruit on the front. The yeast and slight hop flavors tame the luscious fruit into a citrus tang and a nutty, wood-grass finish that also shows a hint of alcohol. Medium body is smooth, with some occasional carbonation flare-ups, and has a dry, slightly warm alcohol finish.

Pours cloudy orange with a huge white head. Very bready, yeasty nose, with noticeable tartness, light fruit, and just a hint of funk. The flavor begins much like a tripel--yeasty, fruity, and spicy--but ends with a very distinct marriage of musty, slightly funky brett and grassy, citrusy hops. Very interesting stuff, and I think it’ll only get better over the next year or so.

750ml bottle. Poured a mostly clear light, golden amber. Nose began with some funk then proceeded to aromas of herbal hops and Belgian yeast. I will get my hands on more of these.....this....I vow.....lol.

Bottle from SL. Poured a golden to amber color, decent typical BSA head and lacing. The aroma was fruity, yeasty, some notes of alcohol. The flavor too was a little hot, but a nice fruity, yeasty BSA with a touch of hops in the finish. Light wheaty, even bretty sour and bitterness also present. A nice brew.
