Pours cloudy orange with a huge white head. Very bready, yeasty nose, with noticeable tartness, light fruit, and just a hint of funk. The flavor begins much like a tripel--yeasty, fruity, and spicy--but ends with a very distinct marriage of musty, slightly funky brett and grassy, citrusy hops. Very interesting stuff, and I think it’ll only get better over the next year or so.

Sep 6, 2008 Bottle. Poured a cloudy amber. The nose was of typical belgian yeast. Very interesting flavors. Some hop notes, a bit of ginger maybe, but the malt backbone is what I really loved about this beer. Just a delicious balance of flavors, with nice carbonation. Excellent beer.

Sep 5, 2008 a very nice brew. pours out a darker gold color wtih a large white head. aroma was rather fruity with quite a bit of yeast to it as to be expected. flavor was was fruity and sweet. this was a very smooth brew with a bitter finish.

Sep 4, 2008 Delicious and easy to drink Belgian strong. Too often this style goes overboard on the sweetness but this was perfectly balanced. Aroma was yeasty, light and fruity. Pour was a perfect medium gold with a huge 3 finger pillowy white head. Taste was delicious. Strong biting carbonation with full apricot, apple and peach (tastes like carbonated fruit cocktail juice). Aftertaste is slightly bitter and dry. Very nice.

Unclear medium orange color with a average, fizzy, good lancing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, light to moderateyeasty, toffee. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (190608)

Aug 31, 2008 750ml bottle, Thanks to The Beer God. Pours cloudy amber in color with thin white head. Aroma sweet, orange, spicey and hoppy. Taste orange, sweet, yeasty and malty with clean finish.
