Draught. Called "De Proef Signature Golden". Sampled at The Stumbling Monk in Seattle on October 18, 2007. Pours a foamy white head with an orange body. Nose of tart Seville oranges, hops and wild yeast. Very good flavour and texture. Smooth, without burn and nicely balanced. Like a young Big Foot.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 Suttree (3765) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - APR 28, 2008
Very foamy - a loose white head sit atop a cloudy orange brew. Smells very fruity and herbal, mixed in with a lot of funky notes. Lots of fruit and white wine notes in the flavor, plus more herbal notes. A really great brew. Sampled at the Raleigh WBF.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 marcus (3763) - Sacramento, California, USA - OCT 5, 2007
This blonde ale poured with a massive white head, that foamed out the top of the bottle as soon as it was opened. There is a musty citrus aroma. The flavor, too, is musty starting off sweet then settling into a dryer fruit taste.

Bottled @ jbrus. Hazy orange color, short head, some lacing. Aroma and taste remind me of Orval. Nicely bitter, obvious dry hopped taste with some Brett sourness. I quite like it.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 ChainGangGuy (3682) - Canton, Georgia, USA - JUL 27, 2007
Appearance: Pours a hazed, dark golden body with a white, creamy-looking head.
Smell: A notably spicy, fragrant aroma generous with it’s amount of grass, pine, and Brett that inspires alot of green, earthy imagery.
Taste: Faint pale malt sweetness with stronger flavors of pine and grass and flickers of white pepper and citrus. Finishes semidry with a slight lingering of bitterness and pepper. Am I mad in saying it’s like a beer-inspired chutney?
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Full, lively carbonation. Sticky mouthfeel.
Drinkability: A pretty good beer, it’s release should be good news for any fans of the latest trend of hoppy Belgians.

Bottle from Santa - slightly hazy golden beer, with a moderate lace - very floral and herbal aroma, with orange rind and orange blossom honey - the flavor is quite similar, with strong herbs and orange peel - floral notes, citrus pulp - honey sweetness rides underneath, but strong herbs and wildflowers keep it in balance - very nice.

Bottle at Max’s tasting. Pours amber with an off white head. Sweetish malty aroma, with light funky yeasty notes and a hint of hops. The flavor has sweet toffee malty notes, light fruity and floral hops, and a light funky earthyness. Solid.
