750 ml bottle courtesy of after4ever, purchased at Bottleworks in Seattle, WA. Pour is cloudy golden orange with a half inch white head. Aroma of sour, funk and some bright Amarillo hoppiness. Engaging nose, very unique smell. Taste is grassy, hoppy and very dry. Finish is resinous and lingering. Amarillo is present throughout the taste. Maybe some Brett in the end. Really easy drinking and refreshing. Clean was the word that kept popping in my head as I was drinking this.

25.4 oz bottle. Clearish yellow brown with a frothy white head and sticky lace. Nose of honey, yeast, cinnamon and spice. Bready, medium light with prickly carb. Taste is orange peel and green banana. Hints of apricot and ginger, underlying caramel. A lovely stylistic merging.

Big nose that presented alot of hops at first, resinous as the bottle said, and very floral. A bretty side to became apparent later. Huge resiny hop flavors, malts give it full body, esp for a belgian ale. Finish is very bitter. Brett flavors take awhile to become known. I had this with Thanksgiving dinner and it was a really great partner.

750ml bottle, finished with an artificial cork and cage. Apparently this is from 2007, I didn’t quite realize it was that old. Aroma is sweet, malty, very lightly funky and farmy with notes of leather, cheese, wood, caramel, doughy bread, dried flowers and faint must. Cloudy rusty amber-brown color with a rocky head that subsides to an uneven pattern. Flavor profile is a good blend of caramel, toffeeish malt sweetness, light, residual hop bitterness, a bit of a drying bite from the Brett addition and doughy, fruity notes from the other Belgian yeasts used here. Alcohol shows itself only very late into the finish, with a brief peppery tinge and some faint warmth. Smooth and very gently acidic palate with a low degree of effervescence and a full body. Interesting stuff. If this had been dated, though, I probably would have had it a year or two ago and would have enjoyed it a bit more.

My second time trying this, 750ml bottle. Pours a clear somewhat dark golden with a small white head. Aroma is a bit appley sweet, light brett, some spicy notes. Flavor follows, apple sweetness, light brett, touch of tongue depressor woodiness, simple but nice. Sparkling airy but sharp carbonation with a medium/light body, fairly juice?... would love to give this another go.
