Sampled at PP SAF. Decent head on this golden orange pour. Citrusy aromas. Belgian yeast is evident too. Not too tart in aromas or flavor. Maybe the Brett will come in a bit later. I will have to re-visit my stored bottle in about 4 months. Flavor was still a bit hoppy but with a nice malty flavor too. Pretty good.

Courtesy redlight. Thanks Brent!! Pours gold with a small white head. A little bit hoppy, some citrus in the aroma. Pretty mild all the way through. Some spices are present. The taste is somewhat hoppy and spicy mixed together. Not a real character to this beer. It seems to be a couple different things at once, which was interesting, and pleasant. Some mild sweetness comes through, but blends in well with the hops and mild malts. Pretty good brew.

Courtesy Ibrew2or3. Dark straw with a thin even white head. Aroma has a mix of fruity malt character, Belgian yeast, some spice in the background. Yeast and spice in the taste with a solid helping of sweet malt flavors. Solid, taste is more complex than the aroma would tell.

Bottle... Poured dark golden with a white-ish head. Bread-like character with loads of yeast spice, esters, and even a hint of tartness. Burnt, toasted caramel-like malts to balance the heavy dose of yeast.

bottled. Very floral and perfume nose, taste is a tongue wack!, I mean really. But as I slowly get more adjusted the hops stand strong, then weird flower/perfume/cologne things going on, then Belgian yeast. Almost, but not, a Belgian ipa. Complex, but so easy to drink that its hard to be a session ale & it was like $15 a 750, so... Amazing description on bottle, impressive, also see Captain Cougar’s.

Reviewed 5/21/2009 (Bottle): Pours a golden light brown clear colored body, with a big foamy white head, good lacing, somewhat lasting. Funky aroma, some grains, some mustiness, not much hop aroma. Sweet and spicy smelling too. Spicy, sweet taste. A little drying, almost a little sour. Pretty tasty, refreshing. Carbonated.

Bottle shared by my son, Enniskillen; Nose of light floral hops, musty caramel, and light spices; light amber, clear, with a small offwhite head; flavor has light sour peaches, light bitterness and tartness, and light caramel; finish has very light hop bitterness. Body seems a little on the watery side.
