Dark brown body, thick and with a light brown bubbly body. Slow gusher, bit easy to save. Interesting mix between darker malts, chocolate, toffee, and enough herbal, forest fresh hops. Bit too heavy carbonation, but a full enough body still for a low abv stout. Mouth filling light brown malts, sharper woody hops. Really interesting. Different and just very much tasty. Perfect for a rainy spring day, giving fulfilling roast with freshness to inspire. Better than expected. Nice! (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

Bottle. Gushes out as soon as you even slightly lift the cap. The smell of coffee and chocolate is very eminent at that point from the beer that’s gushed out. Real mocha. Pours black with a dark mocha-colored head. The head is large, but dissipates very quickly for this type of beer. In the glass the aroma is a bit stuffy. Loaded with coffee and cacao, some roastiness and vanilla as well. Perhaps a light herbal note if you really look for it. Taste is a lot of mocha. Coffee and roast, very dark coffee. Fairly stiff vanilla there as well. This all melds into a smooth, really dark chocolate on the aftertaste with a light wooden and herbal touch from the hops I imagine. Palate is quite light and there’s too much carbonation.

(33 cl bottle from Saveur Biere; Lot 375; BBD: October 2013) A gusher. Pours black with huge, tan head that diminishes quickly. Poor regeneration. Aroma is vanilla, roasted malt and herbal hops. Oily texture, full body, soft carbonation and a sweet finish. Flavour follows the nose. Quite pleasant - a shame about the gushing. Girlfriend says "Nice vanilla flavour."

bottle from saveur-biere. Deep brown, almost black, brown head. Lots of flavours going on here: espresso coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, darkl, roasted malts. Not too dry, pleasantly malty and sweet. A truly dark delight.

Bottle shared by joet while walking around a vineyard. Deep black-brown pour. The nose is quite plummy and jammy with some fig and sweet treacle character. Some leather and tobacco in addition to some unusual lighter aromatics as well. Very rich and full-bodied with a fairly vineous woody component on the back. A lingering fruit and spice character as well - top notch.

Bottle 33cl, a dark beer with low had. Nose is on dark chocolale and black malt. Aroma is medium sweet, intense dark malt malt notes, aromatic hops at the finish, bit lemony. Not creamy and no roasted notes, not bad but very basic brew, far from a real sweet stout.

De couleur noire sombre, le nez expressif et charmeur dévoile des notes végétales et des notes vanillées. Un goût intense et généreux sur les saveurs de chocolat révèle des notes de caramel, de fruits exotiques tel que la mangue, la noix de coco.
Un final long et puissant sur des saveurs de bourbon et de vanille.

Nice mouthfeel, very complex resin/flower/oak aftertaste.
Very original stout. Nice beer !
