2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
330 ml bottle at its exact BB date. Hazy amber. Small off-white head. Dusty and slightly oxidized aroma. Biscuity and bready. Quite unbalanced and not very fresh. Medium-bodied. There is hop bitterness, but not really any fresh hop aroma, only old socks. Did not like this one at all.

The ChrisO small midweek tasting. Light haze on this amber beer. Good pale cream coloured head. Sweet malts and nice sweet piney hops. Light dry finish. Squiffy now but enjoyed this.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A dull IPA. The aroma and taste dissapear very quickly and you feel a bit surprised over that fact.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
330ml bottle. Deep amber color. Hops, fresh, grassy, sweet notes in aroma. Hops, grassy, nutty flavor. Very nutty oily texture. Quite drinkable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
330ml bottle (Systembolaget, Stockholm)
Simple fruity hops. Nutty retronasals. Simple strong IPA after that, but with way more nuts than your typical biscuity IPA. Walnut everywhere in the finish. Dominant, no doubt about it. Later finish is very biting hops, almost metallic. As it warms it mellows very nicely, the nuttiness is softened nicely, smoother and fuller, very nice. However, does alas leave me extremely dry, like after a couple of joints. That’s not an feeling I particularly like.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Medium tan head. Clear amber body. Earthy strawy fruit aroma
with candy and tobacco notes. Dry-sweet earthy strawy dried
fruit taste with musty menthol notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft,
smooth mouthfeel. Dry earthy menthol aftertaste with resiny
strawy notes. Sharp bitterness lingers for a long time. Really
sort of one-dimensional. It’s clean and smooth but the menthol
is distractingly sharp, and overall I find I don’t enjoy it that
much. (0.33l bottle, wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at Chriso - 25/09/12 can’t remember who brought this one (Ken?) but thanks all the same.
Hazy amber in colouration with a thin to medium off-white head.
Caramel malts backed up with hops, fruit tones and finishing a little sour on the nose.
Caramel malt in the taste, grapefruit, hops no sourness as the nose had suggested.
Medium bodied with a little spritzy carbonation.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, many thanks to SaintMatty. It pours golden amber, with a thin white head. The nose is orange, tangerine, cereal, hay and straw. The taste is straw, hay, tangerine, pith grapefruit, grainy and a touch of caramel, with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. A smooth, fruity IPA. Decent.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cloudy ligth copper colour with frothy but quickly faint white head. Some pine, spices and green pineaples in the nose. Refreshing and with lightly bitter taste. Too weak in character and mouthfeel for being a decent IPA in my opinion. Light body, oily feel, average to soft carbonation and a bit more bitter finish. Whatever.
