Bottle. A clear one, dark golden in color and with a small, light beige head. The aroma hasn’t got too much to offer, there’s some citrus peel and pale malts, with some pine cones. A nice bitterness in the flavor, with the rest of the flavors too low, except for bready malts. Medium body and a nice carbonation level. Short finish with too much bread. Sure not my kind of pale ale this one. 140418

Bottle at home, from Systembaloget Nordstan, 01/04/14. Clear golden amber with a good sized off white head of bubbles. Nose is caramel, light metallic twang, bread dough, sweet ring to it, toffee apple. Taste comprises caramel, floral notes, bread dough, candied sugars, summer fruit. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation, a little over pitched for my liking, grassy bitterness in the close. Ok drinkable number but nothing to shout home about.

Bottle from rlgk, thanks a lot! Fast vanishing white head, along with golden yellow color. Subtle hints of hop and copper. Taste of bitter hops, foremost lemon, and bready malts. Also straw and pine, wrapping up the pleasant hoppiness. Carbonation is high, which leads to a very refreshing ale, with a smooth mouthfeel. A well balanced every day IPA.

Poured from a bottle. Nice head, not spectacular. Aroma has almost no hops, a bit malty, a bit meh. Taste is refreshing, quite light, a bit too much carbonation, but overall nice. It’s a decent pale ale.

Ingevara (771) - SWEDEN - FEB 9, 2014
High stiff head, like froth. But - the ale is realy excellent. A very well blanced hoppiness and sweetness with barrels of flavor of dried fruit, airy forrests and fresh cut wood, ripe lingonberries, sap and fresh resin. No exaggeration in hops, just right.

Caramel, resin, pine tree, and fruit aroma. Taste of citrus, apricots, and toast bread. Perfectly balanced bitterness, but occasional hints of metal also.
