Blir lite skitzo på denna alen. Kan tycka att både aroman och smaken var lite tafatt. Men å andra sidan, en varm sommardag........

330 ml bottle from Systembolaget, Liljeholmen. Clear amber with a medium sized white head, leaving only some lacing. Mild and pleasant floral hoppy aroma with caramel and bread. Medium bodied and medium carbonated. Floral bitterness and citrus in the taste with caramel, biscuit and hay.

Foam is coarse and fades quickly to a minimal layer. The aroma offers a little caramel and citrus and also works a little metallic. The flavor is as such quite all right, but with a shortage of malt. It goes directly into a hoppy aftertaste where citrus dominate with flavoring metallic taste. Total lack of malt fullness and body that I would like to start focusing in a pale ale. Carbonation is average and the aftertaste is dry. Hop bitterness is a little bland and could offer more exciting shades such as exotic fruits like many hops have with them as a side benefit. In the long run it is a rather dull pale ale as quickly forgotten again. The taste dies very quickly and remain anonymous.

330 ml bottle. Clear deep golden body with a small off-white head. Weak aroma, mostly malt. Flavor is sweet, pale malt, hint of fruit and low bitterness. Medium body and short aftertaste. Pretty plain and average British pale ale.

Seffle (422) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - MAR 27, 2015
Bottle from SB 150327. Pours a hazy amber with a firm white head. A bit stale beer in the nose and a very dry, almost unpleasant palate with some ashy notes. Rather undrinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appearance is clear bronze with a white head that dissipates quickly and leaves almost no lacing. Aroma is rather weak and vanilla-y, with a hint of apricot. Taste is slightly woody, malty for a pale ale and carbonation is weak. There’s barely any finish, which is disappointing. It’s not bad but nothing to write home about either.
