Flavor is soapy fruity grainy and malty in the start, more fruityness and pungent bitterness together with piny tones getting more dry towards the end still keeping the good maltyness. Finishes with a longlived bitter bite. Clean and well brewed, love the steady malty body and bitterness.

Bottle, shared with BBGTC. Pours a deep golden body with a small white head. Aroma is pale malts, melon and hints of red berries and biscuits. Taste is pale malts, grassy hops, dusty cardboard notes and hints of soap. Medium body and carbonation. Half-decent but no more, and quite overrated IMO.

(Bottle) Pours clear golden with an off white head. The aroma is soft floral, mild sweet citric and honey-like alongside some toasted bread. Hints of apricots/orange marmalade and dried oregano/pizza spices as well as a touch of caramel. The aroma is light sweet, light to medium bitter and tiny acidic with notes of honey, toffee, bread, citrus, flowers, bitter herbs and mild fruits. The mouthfeel is round, clean and light astringent with a light to medium carbonation. Resinous, grapefruity and metallic afterbitterness. Light to medium bodied.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
0.5l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a light blurry peach-orange beer, some unfiltered particles and a small sidesticking off-white head. Light zest-yeasty on the head with a good sweetness, some melon and hay. Not extreme. It’s average carbonated and it has a soft oily texture. Flavors are dry, bitter. Light soapy with some clear fruits, and it ends really mouthdrying. A bit to mouthdrying, somewhat disturbing. 16.06.2012

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAR 8, 2013 Bottle from Systembolaget in Märsta.
It poured a light hazy orange liquid, with a medium sized dirty white fluffy head that left a very thick layer of foam on the side of the glass. Very appealing look.
Hops, fruits and flowers, also fairly sweet.
Hops, flowers and malt.
Semi-smooth mouthfeel, medium body and medium amount of carbonation.
A very nice lager, first of all it looks great, very appealing almost like a nice IPA. I also liked that it had a strong bitterness that lasted a while. The hops was noticeable and both fruity and flowery.
I think this beer was enjoyable on it’s own but should work very well with food.
I liked this one, one of the better lagers at Systembolaget. Unfortunately you have to order it or get your ass to Märsta. But it’s of the same quality as Dugges Lager nr 1, St Eriks Pilsner or Jämtlands Hell to name a few.
Re-rated on the 1st of March.
