33 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Labeled as East River Spring Lager. Very light amber/gold, clear liquid with firm small white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, grass, brittish/earthy hops, wort and biscuity malt. Taste is light sweet, medium bitter with hoppy notes. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Nice and hoppy, crisp.

330 ml can. Aroma is very hoppy, almost ipa?like. Some caramel notes hides behind the massive hop wall. Taste is malty, caramel, perfume notes rounded off with a nice bitter finish. Nice beer

Have noted rated much other than top 50 or mead recently but this one was such a nice surprise. Pours nice and light. Wonderful biscuity malt aroma with notes of hops. Flavor was wonderful malt, biscuity, corn, and cereal with a wonderful mild sweetness. A good does of hops had to be used as there were strong wonderful grassy notes pushing through all that malt. It finishes with a bit of bitterness, in an other wise mildly dry finish. Really hit the spot on a hot Florida night. We need more lagers like this one. They are such wonderful beers when done right. Wish I had more. Thanks for the share Timo. Really really enjoyed this one.

Littlr head, golden. light nose with a little sweet grains. Medium body and length. A little sweet bitterness.

500ml bottle. Malt and herbal aromas. Pours golden, clear, with average white head, quickly disipating, no lacework. Taste is malty and bitter. Average dry finish. Easy to drink, but a bit plain.

En god lager då den har en betydande beska. Bärstensfärgad med en blommig doft. Maltig och lite knäckig smak.

UPDATED: APR 12, 2012 Vague aroma of caramel malt and grassy hops. The flavor is grainy with a vaguely stale tone of caramel malt and some grassy and floral hops. Drinkable but not a particularly good beer!

Slightly amber beer, creamy, airy head. Spicy and herbal hoppy notes, fresh grass, some lemon. Ai hint of yeasty esters. Dry, clean malts with ai hint of caramel and breadiness. Medium sweet flavor, rich malt taste and balancing bitterness in the finish. Very drinkable oily texture. Very nice lager with rich palate.

Det här är en bra lageröl, med en relativt kraftig och skarp beska. Humlen kämns som en blandning av gamla och nya humlesorter. Slutsats: en god legeröl.

Label looks the same but the name was "East River Spring Lager". Thin body with an ample amount of grassy hops and perfumy grape fruit nuances. There is also a shy floral sweetness that is really only noticeable in the lingering aftertaste. Not bad.
