jjpm74 (3448), Connecticut, USA Mar 24, 2007 Courtesy of omhper. Pours brown with a generous rocky head that sticks around. Smells of perfume, citrus, sugar and some floral and wild hints. Tastes of bubblegum, tangy berries, some sweet oranges and has a small peppery bite. Finish is very sweet. ante (2554), Stockholm, Sweden Dec 7, 2006 Bottled. Hazy orange colour with a big firm white head. Sweet yeasty aroma of oranges and red apples with strong dryish notes of smoked cheese and coriander. Full and medium sweet flavour of oranges, apple-slins and yeast with a quite dry and bitter aftertaste of corander and grassy hops. rlgk (3239), Motala, Sweden Feb 20, 2007 Draught at Monks Café, Stockholm. Amber, off white head. Malty, nutty aroma, some sourish notes and x-mas spices showing. Spicy, fuity, sourish flavor with quite alot of hops. A nice, rich and somewhat special x-mas brew. sayravai (3224), Helsinki, Finland Dec 26, 2007 (Bottled, BBE 06/2007, rated 12/2007, from a Bolleke, my 1000th rating of Belgian-style beers, thanks omhper/oh6gdx!) Slightly hazy dark amber with a cloudy-creamy, lasting and lacy head. Sweetish, toffee-grainy-malty aroma with coriander spiciness, raisins and other dried fruit. Sourish-malty, quite yeasty flavor with low bitterness (hops already gone, I suppose). Grainy, sweetish and fruity finish. Medium-bodied, smooth-carbonated palate. The aroma is nice, but flavor is too much like ’t Smisje brews when not at their best. Very smooth and not bad overall, though. oh6gdx (6460), Vaasa, Finland Mar 22, 2008 Bottled (thanks omhper). Hazy nutbrown colour with mediumsized beige head, some lace. Aroma is alcohol, toffee and some other stuff in a very gluelike mix. Flavour is caramel malts, some fruityness, nuts and mildlly burning alcohol. Aftertaste is fruity hops, grass and some yeastyness.
