3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Well, it’s not fair to rate this beer after a Kaggen, but the bottle provided by Per opened by itself…
Hazy golden color; thin persistent head, nice lace and perlage. The aroma of malt hop and yeat smells so much Swedish (more soapy than English). Soft mouthfeel, soft malt taste, a lot of sweet caramel, followed by a bold bitterness, some good hops, a bit metallic; Swedish, if you know what I mean. Ok, it’s similar to a homebrew, but the path is correct.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JUN 26, 2007 Bottled. Hazy deep golden, fairly brief head. Powerful aroma of bitter orange marmelade and yeast with a medicinal touch. Sweet and solidly malty, rather spritzy with interesting esters covered in salt. Full bodied with a wealth of grassy hops leading to a long bitter finish - De Ranke XX Bitter style. A daring, unusual brew.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at Monks Café, Stockholm. Hazy dark golden with a rich and rocky white head. Dryish and spicy hop aroma with touches of yeast and grass. The flavour starts dry, grassy and spicy but sweetter nots comes throuch of butter jammed oranges and white bread. Hoppy and yeasty grassy and peppery finish with a disturbing note of diacetyl.
