Ungstrup (11692), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 1, 2007 Bottled. A hazy orange beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet and very spicy - especially coriander. The flavor is also sweet and very malty and with a more complex but still strong note of spices, leading to a dry spicy finish. Papsoe (11030), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 1, 2007 (Bottle 63 cl) Courtesy of omhper. Pours a hazy, orangey golden with a dense and stable, white head. Clean, floral nose with a hint of yeast. Fairly full-bodied with very fruity accents, some yeast and a surprisingly hoppy finish. 130507 omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden Apr 6, 2007 Updated: Jun 26, 2007Bottled. Hazy deep golden, fairly brief head. Powerful aroma of bitter orange marmelade and yeast with a medicinal touch. Sweet and solidly malty, rather spritzy with interesting esters covered in salt. Full bodied with a wealth of grassy hops leading to a long bitter finish - De Ranke XX Bitter style. A daring, unusual brew. joergen (6814), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 22, 2007 Bottle, thanks to Papsø for sharing.
