Clear dark brown colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dusty coffee, light chocolate. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dusty, dark roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120128]

Bottled. A dark red beer with a huge tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks Theis for sharing.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a deep amber glare and a huge tan head. Aroma is roasted dark malt, light chocolate and liqourice smooth and a hoppy touch. Smooth dark roasted malt, sweet liqourice, touch of chocolate and crisp bitter. Lasting dark malty and liqourice/chocolate finish. Nice one.

Bottled@SBWF2011. Deep ambery brown colour, small brown head. Aroma is cookies, bread, mild toasted and some roasted notes. Flavour is quite similar with also some ashes and mild darker syrupy notes. Also some mild chocolaty notes as it gets slightly warmer.

Bottled. Cloudy dark brown, rich beige head. Aroma of cocoa and leather. Medium bodied with relaxed softish mouthfeel. Tobacco and licorice, coffee and salt. Firm and nicely drinkable. Long bitterish finish. Well balanced. Classy!

Bottle @ Too many Geuze’s - only one toilet , Ulfborg 2012. Pours dark muddy brown with no head. Sweet nose of roast, chocolate and tobacco. Flavor is chocolate and caramel. Sweet and vaguely ashy. Thin mouthfeel. Flat carbonation.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Small head with short duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are coffee, roast malt, dark chocolate, nuts and hops. A little earthy and flat.
