Oct 26, 2008 <i>From a bottle (50 cl) at SMÖF-08</i>. Hazy mahogny, large off-white head. Spicy, estery, caramelly and fruity, a bit sourish. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Well balanced, a bit acidic. Does really not taste like an altbier.

<i>Comments:</i> Very bubbly Sigtuna once again. Dark caramel malts with a point of earthiness are complemented by lemony, floral hops. Medium bitterness, quite grassy. The noble feeling is severely hampered by the extreme carbonation.

Oct 30, 2007 Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and fruits, leading to a bitter finish. More like an ale - not to style.

Oct 1, 2007 Draught. Short whiet and quickly disappearing head. Hazy orange/brown body. Caramel honey aroma. Burned barley malt flavor with a fair amount of hops bitterness. Low carbonation. Long aftertaste.
