Sampeld at SBWF-11 Almost black. Bubbly beige head. Slightly sourish aroma with light licorice. Soft and smooth. Some sweet licorice in the flavour.

Bottle 330ml.

[ Trade by omhper ]. Clear dark dark brown black colour with a huge, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, licorice. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, licorice. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120317]

Ulfborg Scooper Smagning 2012. Black with a big tan head. Aroma of licorice and caramel with a yeasty touch. Sweet and a bit yeasty flavour with lots of licorice, some caramel and toffee, and a roasted finish. Flavourful, but a bit one-dimensional licorice-forward

Bottle @ FOneFan. Black with giant brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and liquorice. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, liquorice, medium sweet, high carbonation, hops and a little bitter.

Bottle @ Mid March Tasting, Ulfborg 2012. Pours unclear dark brown with a fluffy w head and lacings. Nose is roast, liquorice, dark fruit. A bit salty. Hard roasted. Medium bodied. Dry and bitter roasted finish.

330ml bottle. Pours a dense black, with a massive brown head. Compact, roasted aromas, coffee beans, licorice, smoke, malt, iodine. Off-dry, medium to full bodied, medium bitterness, creamy CO2. SPicy taste, lots of roasted malts and coffee, sweet licorice, smoke, chocolate, a hot touch. Quite balanced, the licorice lingers pleasantly in the finish. (2012-01-20)

Humlig doft. Söt, rund, len och ganska lätt kropp. Lätt saltlakritssmak och en torr grapevit beska mot slutet. Intressant smakveckling i munnen. Lakritssmaken är riktigt fin, lite gräsig som rålakrits det vill säga sötlakrits minus sötman. Bra balans.

Bottle. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, citrusy hops, toffee, dark fruit, Flavor of roasted/burned malt, lots of licorice, citrusy hops, coffee, chocolate, toasted bread, raisins, sweetness. Lots of licorice in the finish but also a bit too much bitterness. Round mouthfeel with light carbonation.

dark brown with a medium brown head. Roasted with bitter tones. Malt, licorice, hops and spices. Medium body with a dry, unbalanced finish.
