Bottle (50 cl) from systembolaget. Clear red/brown, medium off-white head. Caramelly malt aroma with spices and citric hops. Some sweetness, followed by a firm bitterness. Odd combo of spices and strong hoppiness.

500ml Bottle (Tack Nina :) ) - Dark brown with some red tinges when held to the light. Spicy aroma with hints of spiced orange, nutmeg, cinnamon and fruitcake. Spicy, fruity and slightly sweet taste with fruitcake, spiced orange and hints of Christmas pudding. Rather complex and there’s a lot going on, but I don’t think I’d be able to drink too much of it.

Miksu (4938) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JUN 1, 2011
0.5 l bottle. Hazy reddish brown color. Sweetish aroma with strong perfumy star anise note with some nuttiness. Sweetish taste overpowered with anise and licorice, some caramel and toffee in the background. To my taste the spices are overpowering.

gyllenbock (4433) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - DEC 10, 2010
Bottle. Reddish brown with a small beige head. The aroma was subtle in terms of spices. Tasted mostly malt and spices, also some chocolate. A lot of carbonation. Drinkable but nothing sensational.

Bottle from SB cons 2011-04-06 Göteborg AR: christmas cloves, sourness, brown farin sugar, roasted malt AP: semi dark brown, wee fizzy bubbles 4 cm in height, but turns into steady rocky head F: first a bit watery, then cloves, growing into the bitter, a bit chocolatt story, but the is something sour that is lurking - that isn’t at all exciting. Wee vinos feeling
