Bottle. Black liquid with almost no head. Aroma: roasted malts, coffee, dark sugars, hints of honey, chocolate, smooth. Taste: dark chocolate, coffee, sweet, raisins, candy. Low carbonation but pretty viscous mouthfeel. Good job!

Flaska från SB. Närmare ett år gammal. Nästan kolsvart och ett lågt snabbt försvinnande skum. Doft av hårdrostad malt, muskovadosocker, alkoholtoner, kaffelikör. Smaken söt, välrostad, lite brända toner, chokladkola, snäll beska. Ett riktigt godisöl som ändå inte känns sliskigt eftersom alkoholen som är väl dold i smaken bär upp sötman väl.

Really good and amiable beer. The smell and the taste is absolutely wonderful. But still think it is missing that little something that would make it perfect. The aftertaste is really good and is left for a while.

Aroma: Very much roasted malt in the smell, burnt bread, dark roasted coffee beans, dark dried fruits.
Appearance: The beer is dark dark brown, a very small tan head, some lacing and good curtains.
Taste: Starting very sweet, dark syrup, figs, raisins, marmalade, dark chocolate and bitter orange peel.
Palate: Little carbonation, sticky and oily, a heavy body, an almost coarse dry finish.
Overall: A very heavy brew, in many ways. Much body, much alcohol, much hops.

Bottle as a sample (will be available at Systembolaget) but this is 8% not 10,1%. Smell of chocolate and dark bread (vörtbröd). Similar taste with some subtle spices. Nice to lean back and sip at.

Sample @ SBWF12. Dark brown colour, dark chocolate and caramel aroma and taste. Slightly bitter finish

Bottle from Systembolaget, Sweden. Fluffy brown head. Tar and salt liqurish with dark chocolate and some dark caramell maltiness aroma. Alcohole and harsh roasted malts in the taste with a solid bitterness and balansing swettness. Big body and low carbonation.

Soem semilasting head, pi¨tch black. Nose is fruity with ligth cj´kolate notes. some body and length with soft chjoko notes as well as some fruity notes of red and yellow berries. Somehow dissapoiniting but maybe some additional bottle time woult be of benefit?
