Overwhelmingly nice porter. So smooth with the palate of sweet ’but not much’ fragrances: coffee, medium-dark chocolate. Nice company.

Bottle. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of malt, some pine, some roasted malt and coffee. Flavor is sweet and roasted with some coffee, grains and caramel. Medium body, average carbonation.

Bottle. An unclear, dark brown beer with a dense, finger-thick dark beige head. Roasted, chocolatey aroma, nice but a bit simple. Some piney hops blending in. Nice bitterness in the flavor, with roasted malts and roasted kind of bitterness. Chocolate and piney notes. Full to medium body with a soft carbonation. Lasting finish. A bit boring this one, but quite nice anyway. 141213

Bottle 330ml @ Geokkjer
Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, licorice, caramel, citrus and coffee. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long roasted, coffee, licorice and chocolate finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice and smooth. Sweetness and liqourice in background. No foam. Short in taste.

Solid porter, though a bit of mold on aftertaste. Within expiry date although getting to end of that range. Very drinkable. Chocolate/roast aroma.

Hopmaestro (194) - Örebro, SWEDEN - NOV 26, 2014
An aroma of roasted malts and licorice with a hint of chocolate. The taste brings even more to the table and for being a porter it is super-tasty and flavorful. Sweet malts with a licorice and coffee touch and a hint of wood in the undertone. The aftertaste is medium sweet with a warm touch from the alcohol and medium bitterness, very well balanced. This is actually one of the best Swedish winter brews around.

Black brown body, light brown small and diminishing head, lacingless. Aroma; roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee, cocoa, dusty brown hops, paint(?). Taste; roasted black malts, winey stuff, dark fermented fruits, hops, and goes to finish with dark fruits, cocoa, dark chocolate. Feels as a well bodied, but a bit slippery porter. Overall; when all dishes are eaten, and the Xmas chocolate and fruits are on the table, this is a suitable pal for the occasion. [33cl brown embossed bottle, abv8%, BB16-09-2016, B@Systembolaget Storheden Luleå]
