I think I’ll faint. After the first sip, I thought I was in heaven. Smells good and a strong scent, tastes great and some dryness but are disappearing fast. The aftertaste is left long, long time. I think that it’s just Stenkvista Stout from Eskilstuna Ölkultur that is better. I drank a 2011 last year and it was absolutely wonderful. Now I just enjoy. Buy this now!

Aroma: Very much roasted malt in the smell, burnt bread, dark roasted coffee beans, dark dried sweet fruits.
Appearance: The beer is dark dark brown, a high brown head, good lacing and good curtains.
Taste: Starting very sweet, dark syrup, figs, raisins, marmalade, dark coffee, chocolate and bitter orange peel.
Palate: Little carbonation, sticky and oily, a heavy body, a very dry finish.
Overall: This year it was even better, and at lower ABV.

Bottle: Black Colour, brown head. Aroma: nice dark Chocolate, raisins, fruity, citrus, Alcy , some liqurie. Flavor had a nice dark Chocolate mouthfeeling , and nice coffee, and raisins! Medium body, and a nice long complex ending of coffe, dark Chocolate and Alcy ! Werry nice!!!

Wow, Sigtuna continues a logarithmic improvement curve of its brews! This is a very nicely composed "imperial" (god, I hate thate term for beers) porter, with massive and complex aroma and taste while maintaining a nice balance. This is an "advanced" beer that still tastes like beer. The roasted malts gives the brew a nice touch of coffee and bitter dark chocolate. Impressively "thin" for its 8% ABV, which means that I can enjoy the whole bottle for once...

Bottle at Chiso’s tasting 30/12/12. Black with a caramel tones. Small tan head with some legs. liquorice coffee caramel aroma. Big bold dark malt flavour toasty creme caramel and cotton candy. Moderately sweet finish. Warming.

Riktigt mörk brun/svart. Fick ett stort och tjock brunt skum som lämnade fina rester i glaset. Doftar mjölkchoklad, russin, rostad malt, bröd. Smakar chokladigt, en del kaffe, lakrits, lätt bränd smak. Ganska torr. Gott som fan! Oljig och tjock vätska. Blev riktigt överraskad av den här. Grym bärs!

0.33 l bottle, thanks hanniku! Opaque black color. Sweet roasty aroma with soft licorice, nuts, coffee, chocolate and vanilla. Sweet coffeish roasty taste with licorice, dark and hint of wood. Full bodied, soft warming palate. Very pleasant and drinkable porter.

Bottle (33 cl), courtesy of Dunbat72. Black with medium beige head. Strong roasted aroma of coffee and chocolate with piney and resiny hops. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Semi dry, high bitterness. Very nice.

330ml Bottle - Black with a foamy tan head. Roasted malt, plain chocolate and liquorice in the aroma. Rich and roasted taste with notes of coffee, salt liquorice, Bournville and roasted malt. Smooth, luxurious and easy to drink.

@ Tiddes Bar. Pours pitch black with a small bubbly had leaving lacing. Aroma is roasted malty sweet caramel green apples tary chocolate. Flavor is sweet fruity roasted malty chocolate coffee bitter vanilla. Finishes bitter roasted and sweet.
