50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown amber with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and chocolate, light vanilla touch. Roasted malty and caramelish. Sweet, caramelish, spiced and light liqourice. Lingering dark caramelish. Bitter and dark roasted malty finish.

Bottled. A hazy brown beer with a thin tan head. The flavor has notes of chocolate, malt, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, caramel, alcohol, and matl, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours an opaque dark brown with a tiny, rough beige head. Sweet aroma of overripe dark dried fruits - lovely really. Solid body, hardly any carbonation, very fruity, sweet and roasty - even a little spicy. Hard roast bitter finish. Lovely. 011211

Pours dark (almost black) brown with a small head. Aroma is coffee, cocoa, hops, toffee, brown sugar and some smoke. Flavour is charcoal, hops, bitter coffee and some smoked meat. Long dry, bitter finish.

Aroma: popcorn, chocolate, light smokey, wet hay, cocoa, herbal, roasted, sweet liquorice, coffee, toffee, dried fruits, spiced, medium mouth feel, smooth, Taste: liquorice, wet hay, smoke, light salami, dried fruits, roasted, coffee, spiced, star anis, earthy, faint vanilla, roasted bitterness, light dryness.

Bottle from Systembolaget, Stockholm, Sweden. Pours a pitch black, like tar, with little foam. Aroma has a lot of chocolate and coffee notes with some floral and grass from the hops. Taste is a bit burnt and very complex, lots of coffee and some chocolate, medium sweetness and medium bitter in the finish. Well balanced but a bit thin overall for such a strong porter.

Very dark brown to black color, smallish tan head. Sweet, malty, licorice scent. Licorice, roasted, sweet taste. Tocuh of alcohol. Dry in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, dry high bitterness.

500 ml bottle courtesy of Nisse666. Consumed on November 19. Pours deep brown with a small white head that clings to the glass. Smell is sweet with sweet fruits like banana, some chocolate and alcohol. Taste is sweet and bitter with heavily roasted malt, coffee and alcohol. Finish is dry and bitter. Bit unsettled, will probably be better till next Christmas.

Shared by roblove. Pours dark brown almost black with a beige head. Aroma is cocoa, light smoked, cheaper chocolate, alot of dark dried fruits, some spice, roasted malts and sweet liquorice. Taste is sweet liquorice, chocolate, dark dried fruits, cocoa, coffee and light herby spices.
