Bottle, pours black with small tan head. Aroma is some chocolate, some roast, some burnt coffee. Taste is also burnt coffee, some flavor like "over steped black tea", some some hoppy fruityness and roast and some chocolate.

Aroma is spruce, roasty, chocolate. Black beer dark brown head. taste is medium bitterness, and roasty. Palate medium body, creamy, thick feel, soft carbonation, long finish, bitter. Aroma is a mix of stouts and ipa, taste is stout, finish is ipa. excellent beer

Bottle from Systembolaget. Black with a dirty one inch head. The aroma consists mainly of roasted malts, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, ash, raisins and some faint hoppy fruitiness, not near as one expects from an IPA. Taste is sweet balanced by a bitterness both from the hops and roasted malts.

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2012 Totalt svart men med brunt skum. Doftar kaffe, nötter, choklad, citrus och russin. Smakar kaffe, kakao, bränt socker och rostade nötter.

Svartipa hit och svartipa dit. Tramsig ölstil i grunden. En trend som är död inom två åt typ.

Pours almost black with a 2 finger brown frothy head which leaves some lacing on the glass.
Aroma is sweet, hoppy citrusy with exotic fruit yet earthy with roasted malts.
Taste is a bit sweet at first but then has piny hoppiness, milk chocolate, well roasted coffee. Some alcohol shines through when the beer is a bit temperated.
Medium bodied, smooth mouth feel. Finish is bitter and long lasting.
A really nice Cascadian Dark Ale/Black IPA!

Almost black with thin tan head. Chocolate and a little flower in the aroma. Fresh taste, coffee, vanilla, citrus and flower ending with rather sharp bitterness.

Bottle. Pours black with a medium sized brown head. Pretty malty aroma, sweet, caramel, coffee. Malty to the taste, some hops, coffe and licorice. Very bitter finish, medium body. Needs more hops in the taste and lots more in the aroma. Could do with less bitter hops.

Very nice. Perfect match between malt and hops. Long aftertaste with chocolate notes

Bottle from systembolaget. Dark and powerfull. Perfect with forest muschrooms a dark meat. Not far from an imperial stout. A Nice experince!
