Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours somwhat hazy into the glass, but the golden color and the nice foam head repairs any damage the concerned may have regarding an unfiltered product. The aroma is faint but appetizing, some citrus, some malt, some pine, some yeast. Had I blind tested it I would have thought it was a belgian beer, and for me that’s a good thing, just to be clear. The taste is average, or just above. Too much hops, too little malt. With this constitution of hops, the beer would have done well with caramel malts. It falls flat now due to the one-dimensional experience. The palate is prickly. A good lager, but not more.

Off white dense head, somewhat unclear golden body with strawy tones. Few lacings, clouds here n there. Aroma; grassy mild fruity hops, sweet malts, yellow apple, notes of barley. Taste; barley malts dominates, bitter but fruity tones from hops play along, then some bread, mostly rye bread. Normal on palate. Finishes bittersweet, not bad at all. Passar perfekt till kryddig och friterad asiatisk mat. Lättsam men med en hyfsad beska för klassen.

Golden orange, slightly hazy, medium head. The aroma has citrusy hops, some grassy bready tones, decent maltyness. The raste has grassy hops, flowerness, grapefruit and herbs. The palate is a bit bitter but could be more, body is medium. A tasty lager where the hops bring a some character,

Slightly hazy yellow color, small white head. Grainy, slightly sweetish malty aroma. Medium-bodied. Grainy, sweetish. Decent unfiltered lager with no big suprises either way.

Bottle (BB May 2014). Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (herbs, grass), with notes of sour veggies. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, slightly husky. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Has promise in terms of bright hops, but the sour/rancid vegetable notes are really off-putting...what could have been a 7 aroma is barely a 5. Also kinda husky/vegetal in the mouth, although balanced well. Barely average but cleaned up could be mid 3s easily.
