Ljunkan (164), Karlstad, Sweden Aug 16, 2008 Bottle. Golden/orange color with a large white head. Aroma is sweet with some mandarin/orange and alcohol. Flavour is sweet, malty with some alcohol. The alcohol isn’t that nice either. A quite decent bitterness prevents this from being total misery though, but it’s not good.

A big light head that disaperes rather quick.
The flavour is dominated by belgian yeast. Papsoe (11030), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 30, 2008 (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of joergen. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a decent, dense and lacing off-white head. Fresh aroma of fruit and and yeast. Medium body with sweet fruit and yeast and lots of diacetyl. Dry and somewhat astringent finish. Very Belgian indeed. 310808 mybestfriend (255), Gothenburg, Sweden Oct 22, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark golden colour with a white head. The aroma has notes of orange, caramel, fruit and some alcohol. The flavour has some sweetness which is followed by notes of orange, spices, some bitter herbs, a hint of alcohol and some roasted notes. The finish is a bit salty and bitter. TBone (5171), Pori, Finland Oct 17, 2008 (Bottled, BB 08/2009).
Thanks oh6gdx! Pale amber color, decent cloudy white head, lots of lace. Aroma has hayish hops, some Duvel-like pepperness and fruits. Very peppery-alcholic flavor with orange and mango. Longlasting grapefruity aftertaste. Warming. Duvel is maybe a model of this beer. Bov (4735), Bienne, Switzerland Oct 7, 2008 courtesy of Per Forsgren - cloudy orange colour, persistent white foam with a nice lacing; solid aroma of grapefruit and orange peels with a hint of pepper; solid carbonation and tartness, some astringence and a solid dry bitterness; long dry and bitter fruity finish (oranges and grapefruit again) - very belgian
