Aug 31, 2008 (bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big and fluffy white head. Light-sweet, grainy malty and slightly milky nose with a moderate herbal hoppy touch. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Grainy malt-character with a shy herbal spice; medium-dry malty and soft grainy finish with a light touch of herbal hops. A bit sweet but likeable Helles (04.07.08).

Jul 12, 2008 Bottle (purchased at the Brauerei): Golden with a big fluffy and lacy head, sweet-grainy and pale-malty nose with a light metallic tinge; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; a tinge of herbal hops in the soft sweet-bitter finish. O.K., a bit sweet, but all in all pleasant..........

Sep 20, 2006 Bottle. Malty aroma with a hint of toffee. malty toffee flavor with hints of milk and anis. Clean mouthfeel. Low on hopbitterness, as you might expect, but a well made helles.
